New 'En Nuestras Manos' trailer is here!

So excited to share the new trailer for our new project. It’s been years in the making, but somehow feels like perfect timing for it to be coming out:

‘En Nuestras Manos’ [‘In Our Hands’] is about small-scale farmers and backyard gardeners feeding their communities at the dawn of climate change. Shot on over 40 farms and gardens in 7 countries, this 9-part documentary series focuses on a close-knit network of farmers and teachers who’ve been busy training others in the biointensive method. This technique is a synthesis of sustainable farming practices influenced from the collected wisdom of history’s most successful civilizations; it requires no heavy machinery, no chemicals and generates compost. Person to person, workshop by workshop this knowledge has propelled a cross-cultural, open-source agricultural revolution now set to play a major role in mitigating climate change.

Filmed and edited by Matt Anderson (‘Fall and Winter’, SXSW 2013), this intimate portrait of a burgeoning global movement brings you into the garden to uncover the fundamentals of running a sustainable food system at any scale. Learn what principles make the biointensive method work and witness flourishing farms in completely revived ecosystems. See examples across the planet where this method is improving the fertility of the land, adequately feeding families, generating income, all while sequestering carbon from the atmosphere. Empower yourself by learning how to turn scarcity into abundance. The answer is beneath our feet, and the future is in our hands.
